Involvement of BALTEUS in the GAEA project
Our company BALTEUS participates in the GAEA project, which aims to promote green innovation and sustainable development in Europe. Funded by the European Union’s Horizon 2020 programme, GAEA invites innovators, researchers and startup enthusiasts to get involved either individually or as a team, with an existing or new business idea.
What is the GAEA project?
The GAEA project, known as “Green Alternatives for European Autonomy”, is an innovation programme aimed at addressing Europe’s energy challenges through innovation. The programme is open to participants from eight European countries and supports a wide range of innovative ideas in areas such as smart and sustainable cities, renewable energy, energy efficiency and many more.
Our activities in the GAEA project
As the local partner for the EIT in the GAEA project, we are focusing on spreading awareness of this innovative project. Our role is to bring in suitable participants and to foster interconnections between them and relevant industrial sectors.
Expected impact of our participation
We expect that our activities will attract many participants and stimulate the creation of new innovative projects in Slovakia. We are ready to provide support through our experts and mentors to help develop the potential of these projects.
Cooperation with Grant UP
In collaboration with our partner, the online magazine Grant UP, we will focus on targeted communication with key stakeholders and support in the organisation of the regional competition. Grant UP provides significant support in the area of information dissemination and communication.
Participation in the GAEA project gives us a unique opportunity not only to promote green innovation but also to show our commitment to sustainable development and to contribute to the future of energy autonomy in Europe. You can find out more about this project on our blog or on the Grant UP website.
